Frequently Asked Questions

You've got questions, I've got answers.

I don't want to spend weeks talking about my childhood or my relationship with my mother.

Neither do I - I spent almost a decade in and out of therapy, so I understand where you're coming from. The Leap of Faith is all about getting to the deepest core as fast as possible, and fixing it once and for all. Speed is key here.

Do I have to relive old traumas?

No, not at all - in fact, re-experiencing past events gets in the way. We need to understand the story that your mind is telling ABOUT what happened, not dive into the event itself. Your mind looks at things in terms of patterns - there's a big box in your mind with a million examples of any particular belief structure. Your mind can choose any example, whatever is safe for us to see, and it'll be more than enough for us to work with.

Is this hypnosis? Will I get mind-controlled?

Yes, I use hypnosis to create a deep trance - at least for the first two foundational sessions. Hypnosis is a voluntary process, however. It's not something I do TO you, it's a process I lead you through. If you don't want to follow, I can't make you. And when we're down there, you'll be fully aware of what's going on and why, and can say no at any time.

How hard will this be for me to do?

It can be the easiest thing you ever do - because what I need, more than anything, is for the conscious mind to step aside so I can have a direct negotiation with your subconscious mind. In short, the less you do, the less you try, the easier and faster the whole process goes.

How long does this take?

Until we dive in and take a look around, there's no way to know for sure. Most of my clients - those who are truly ready to go all in - can finish up the foundational work in 2-3 weeks. Sometimes we need to do some work on the front end to get you ready. Sometimes we need to do work on the back end because something didn't fall into place like we needed it to. Typically we're done in 4 sessions, and rarely are more than 5 needed.

How do we know when we're done?

That's up to you - you tell me when we're done. We keep working together until the Optimal Belief System is true for you at the deepest level of your mind. Only you can say for sure when that happens.

What guarantees do you offer?

As with any collaborative process, both of us have responsibilities. After our first session, if you no longer want to continue, I'm happy to offer a full refund. But once you schedule your second session, we're locked in. I'll keep working with you until the Optimal Belief System is true for you, and I don't care how long that takes. Obviously, I expect you to act in good faith - and I reserve the right to terminate our agreement if that is not the case.
